To determine if you have mental health coverage through your insurance carrier, the first thing you should do is call them. Check your coverage carefully and make sure you understand their answers. Some helpful questions you can ask them:
What are my mental health benefits?
What is the coverage amount per therapy session?
How many therapy sessions does my plan cover?
How much does my insurance pay for an out-of-network provider?
Is approval required from my primary care physician?
Currently we file insurance claims on Blue Cross/ Blue Shield, United Health Care, Health Choice (Oklahoma State Teachers Insurance), Aetna, Magellan, and Beacon. We also participate in a multi plan carrier, so it’s ok to check with us and we can inquire regarding your coverage. We are not filing claims on Community Care at this time.
We do accept Oklahoma Medicaid (SoonerCare, Aetna BetterHealth, Human Healthy Horizons, Oklahoma Complete Health), Medicare, and related plans at our Outpatient Behavioral Health Offices in Tulsa at 8810 S Yale Ave, in Owasso at 10310 N. 138th East Ave suite 104, and in Broken Arrow at 817 S Elm Pl suite B, We also also have therapists that will see clients who have Oklahoma Medicaid at partnering school and community center sites.
