Discussion of the differences between privacy, confidentiality, and HIPPA laws. Discussion of what privileged communication means for mental health providers in Oklahoma. Further discussion about the importance of informed consent and what that looks like in private agency work.

Join Chris King Counseling Group for Whole Hearted Help 2025 - Fall Retreat!
This two-day gathering will focus on renewal and connection for therapists. Educators will include Chris King Lpc, founder and director of GPS Therapies who will be doing a session on the value of orientation and its implications for our practices. Candice Primm of Tulsa Counseling Group will be sharing an Echo therapy session on Forest bathing, which will be an awesome opportunity for us to just breathe. Come connect, recharge, and rest during a beautiful fall weekend.
Participants will get 6 hours of CE credit with a 3 hour Ethics/ self renewal course and a 3 hour Eco therapy course, plus great food and connection time in a great place.
