Bio

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Oklahoma and a Bachelor of Science in Behavioral Science from Rogers State University. I am trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and incorporate this along with other trauma-informed, attachment-based, and nervous system-focused approaches in my work.

Before becoming a therapist, I spent over a decade as a social worker in the foster care system. That experience shaped my deep understanding of the importance of connection, the impact of early attachment, and how our nervous system adapts to protect us when we’ve experienced pain or loss.

Many of the clients I work with feel emotionally drained, stuck in patterns of self-sacrifice, or uncertain about who they are beyond their roles. They may struggle with setting boundaries, quieting their inner critic, or feeling “enough.” I help clients gently explore these patterns, understand the nervous system’s role in emotional responses, and begin to reconnect with a more grounded and compassionate sense of self.

I believe in meeting you exactly where you are—with warmth, curiosity, and without judgment. Whether you're a teen, young adult, or navigating a major life transition, I offer a space where you can feel safe, seen, and supported. Therapy isn’t about fixing what’s broken—it’s about healing, gaining insight, and creating new ways of relating to yourself and the world around you.
